“Middle Treasure” is a feature documentary currently in postproduction. The film explores the profound impact of dzuds — severe winter disasters intensified by climate change — on Mongolian herding communities. Through the lives of multiple herding families, it reveals how extreme cold and snow are gradually dismantling traditional ways of life, forcing families to leave behind their land and livestock and become climate refugees within their own country.
By documenting their personal stories, “Middle Treasure” reflects on the quiet erosion of cultural heritage and calls for greater global attention to the realities faced by these resilient communities.

本作は、気候変動によって深刻化しているモンゴルの厳しい冬の災害「ゾド」が、遊牧民の暮らしに与える大きな影響を描いている。
複数の遊牧民家族の視点を通して、極端な寒さや雪害が、彼らの伝統的な暮らしを少しずつ壊していく現実を映し出す。
